hockey skills

This is a picture of my class room 15 doing hockey skills at the front of the school. I think we all had great fun. The picture was token about 2-3 weeks ago.

The trip of my life

“Pue!” I hold my nose as the stench of the poo ponds come wafting through Jasper's open window. I feel the smoothness of the round rocks as I jump out of the car. I follow Reece down the beach and see a dead boar lying on the rocks. I taste the cool breeze flowing into my face. I hear John telling us the legend of how the Boulder Bank was made. I feel great as we finally leave back to school.

My Matariki Costume

How to make my Matariki costume

I am going to write instructions on how I made my Matariki costume.  I hope when you are done you like my design.

Gear List

·     Scissors

·     Black Hat

·     Black t-shirt

·     Black trousers

·     Flax

·     Thin rope

·     Glow in the dark stars

·     Sticker stars

·     String

·     Grey belt

·     Black shoes

·     Whale bone necklace

·     Double sided tape

·     Taiaha

·     Red paint

·     Wire

·     Glue gun

·     Sellotape

Method

1.    Get the black top and the red pai nt.

2.  Paint red koru on the bottom of the t-shirt.

3.  Using the double sided tape stick a glow in the dark star on one side of the string.

4. Sellotape the other side of the string to the belt.

5.  Stick 5 glow in the dark stickers onto the belt with double sided tape.

6.  Find the black pants and stick two glow in dark stickers on the top and two on the bottom.

7.  Get the t-shirt, flax, thin rope and the glue gun.

8.  Glue gun flax to one shoulder of the t-shirt and glue gun the rope around the other shoulder.

9.  Stick seven sticker stars on the middle of the t-shirt.

10.                     Stick seven more sticker stars on the middle of the hat.

11.                       You are ready to shine like the seven stars of Matariki!!
